India beat Hong Kong by 26 runs

Asia Cup 2018 is going on and now, it has come to the ending point. This time it is the 14th edition of Asia Cup which has executed in United Arab Emirates. Total participants are six where team India, Pakistan and Hong Kong are placed into group A. So, as the group mates Hong Kong and India faced against each other in 18th September, 2018 and in the match, team India beat Hong Kong by 26 runs only.

Earlier, Pakistan beat Hong Kong by 8 wickets and this was the 2nd match of Hong Kong as well as the last group stage match of them. It was the day/ night competition where Hong Kong started to field by winning the toss. For India Khaleel Ahmed made his ODI debut in the match. So, came to bat team India scored 285 runs where Shikhar Dhawan scored a brilliant century. He scored 127 runs and at the end, team India lost seven wickets totally in fifty overs. Later, team Hong Kong came to chase the runs and as the newbie team they went too close but the opponent was the strongest team India. Besides, Hong Kong was in bad luck. They also lost seven wickets and played full 50 overs. One of their player Nizakat Khan scored highest 92 runs so far. The team Hong Kong scored 259 runs totally in the match. So, team India won by 26 runs so far.

By losing the toss, captain Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan started to open the innings. Openers added 45 runs where Rohit Sharma was gone scoring 23 runs so far. But at the end of the crease Dhawan stood strong. He made another partnership with Rayudu. This partnership added more than 110 runs. Rayudu was gone scoring 60 runs so far. Dhawan was the 3rd wickets who scored 127 runs. Dhoni failed to open his run account in the match but faced only three balls and gone. Karthik scored 33 runs and Jadhav remained not out with 28 runs so far. At the end of 50 overs team India scored 285 runs in exchange for 7 wickets so far. Shah took three wickets for Hong Kong and Ehsan Khan took two wickets so far.

Nizakat Khan and captain Anshuman Rath made the tournament heavily. They started to play very carefully. Openers added 174 runs when captain was gone scoring 73 runs so far. Nizakat khan scored 92 runs. rest players failed to do their jobs and so, scoring 259 runs team Hong Kong finished all overs so far.
