England won by 86 runs

England cricket board is currently arranging a home tournament consists of England and India and due to the purpose, team India is visiting there. In 3rd July, 2018 the duel tournament officially started. And it was started with T20I competition. After so many speculation, team England faced the defeat in T20I series which consisted of three matches. Team India won by 2 – 1 games there. Now once again, this two team has started the ODI series and team India started the series with victory just like T20I series. And once again, England returned to the game where England won by 86 runs against India in the 2nd ODI.

They earlier turned around and won the 2nd T20I against India but finally missed the series by losing 3rd T20I there. Now, they will try to recover their previous memory and desperately seeking the series victory against the guest team India.

But under the captain of Virat Kohli, team India is doing very good. They have very much potential players and undoubtedly they have the longest and strongest batting lineup now. So, it would be tough to beat them in 3rd ODI. But one thing should consider that it is England and they are playing at the home venue. Nothing would be impossible for them as well.

In 14th July, 2018 the 2nd ODI between England and India took place and this time Lord’s, London hosted the ODI match. Earlier team England won the toss and decided to bat first. They knew their ground very well and their decision proved right later.

Roy and Bairstow once again started the innings for England. They added 69 runs jointly where Roy scored 40 runs and Bairstow scored 38 runs so far. Later, Root came up and made partnership with captain Morgan. Root remained unbeaten till the last with his brilliant century. He scored 113 runs where captain Morgan scored 53 runs so far. Among the middle order players, Willey scored a half century. So, in 50 overs team England scored 322 runs by losing seven wickets. Kuldeep Yadav took highest three wickets so far.

Later, India came to chase the score. They started with Sharma and Dhawan. Sharma did not get his last match form this time and scored 15 runs only. Dhawan scored 36 runs and Kohli scored 45 runs so far. Most of their players got score but not enough to chase 322 runs. Raina scored 46 runs and Dhoni scored 37 runs for the team. In 50 overs, team India lost all wickets and scored 236 runs totally.
