England whitewashed Australia In ODI series

Australia is a super power cricket team in the World but they are in bad luck against England. They could not avoid whitewash. Their opponent team, England whitewashed Australia In ODI series where England was the local team and Australia is visiting England now.  Their tour purpose is to play a ODI series along with a T20I match against the local team England. Team Australia finished their South Africa tour recently where they faced worst time. During the tournament against Proteas, they lost their captain Steve Smith for ball tampering. Besides, David Warner was also punished for the scene.

England whitewashed Australia In ODI series

Now, Australia team is led by Tim Paine and under his captaincy, team Aussie is visiting England. Earlier, they have played two preparation matches against two first class teams in England and won both times. But England national team is far different than first class team. They started their ODI series in 13th June, 2018 and the final match which is the 5th match took place in 24th June, 2018.

All five matches, England beat Australia or it is simply called that Australia is whitewashed by England after long time.

The 5th match took place at Old Trafford, Manchester where as usual Australia won the toss and decided to bat first. Most amazingly all five matches Australia got the toss favour but not a single time, they managed victory. For England Sam Curran made his ODI debut in the match against Australia.

So, team Australia came to bat for the first time where Finch and Head started to bat for the team. This time, they failed to impress the audiences and jointly added only 60 runs so far. In the same runs, Finch and Stoinis were gone. Finch scored 22 runs where Stoinis scored 0. Just 30 runs later, Head was gone as well. He scored 56 runs which was the highest for Australia. Later, Carey and Short added 44 and 47 runs respectively. Basically team Australia faced batting disaster in the match and in 34.4 overs they lost all wickets. In the meantime, they scored 205 runs so far. For England, Moeen Ali took four wickets and Curran took two wickets so far.

At the beginning, team England also faced same batting disaster and in 50 runs top five wickets were gone. Later, captain Buttler came and stood strong. He remained not out and left the ground with victory. He made an amazing century out there. In 122 balls, Buttler made 110 runs so far. In 48.3 overs team England scored 208 runs in exchange for nine wickets.
