Chris Morris mocked Rohit Sharma by giving him a mankad warning during the World Cup clash between India and South Africa in Southampton on Wednesday.

The South African speedster was about to deliver a ball early on in the second innings, when he stopped and warned Rohit, who had sneaked out of the crease.

Even as the opener rushed back inside the crease in nick of time, Morris hilariously attempted to disturb the stumps before laughing off the incident.

Earlier in the day, Indian bowlers put on their best foot forward to restrict South Africa to 227-9 in 50 overs.

While no South African batsman couldn’t even get to a fifty, India rode on early breakthroughs from Jasprit Bumrah (2-44) before leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal ran through the middle order, completing with figures of 4-51.

In reply, Rohit went on to score an unbeaten 122 off 144 balls to help India chase down the target with six wickets in hand.
