Australia won by 7 wickets at Melbourne

Team Australia has started the tri nation tournament very well and yet to face any defeat here where they played total three matches in the tournament. This tri nation competition is known as Trans-Tasman Tri-Series which is organised by Australia and New Zealand. Since the opening match of the tournament, Australia was showing their tremendous performance in the T20I competition. In the inaugural match, they beat Black Caps where in the 2nd match which was against England, Australia once again won by five wickets. Now, in the 3rd T20I, Australia won by 7 wickets at Melbourne against England.

However, earlier the tri nation series, Australia and England played a Test and a ODI series between them where Test series was known as Ashes. Australia won the Ashes series and England team won the ODI series. Now, once again this two giant teams have participated in the tri nation series where the new member is New Zealand.

Australia won the first two matches against England and New Zealand. They also played the 3rd match of the tournament which was against Australia. The match was placed in 10th February, 2018 and Melbourne Cricket Ground was the host arena of the match. In the match, Australia won the toss and opted to field first. So, English team came to bat with had no choice and scored 137 runs in selected 20 overs. Most of their players were failed and so, they did present a poor score in front of the Aussie team. Jos Buttler scored highest 46 runs for England where Kane Richardson took three wickets highest for Australia. Later, Australia came to chase the score and by losing only three wickets, they made the chase successful. Glenn Maxwell scored highest 39 runs in 26 balls for Aussie. Australia took only 14.3 overs to reach the destination. Chris Jordan took highest 2 wickets for England. In the match, for England Jos Buttler played as captain where the regular captain Morgan was injured.

Once again, Roy and Hales started the innings for England. But in 16 runs both were gone. Malan and Vince tried a bit but failed. Malan scored 10 runs and Vince scored 21 runs respectively. Later, Buttler and Billings played and added few runs where Billings scored 29 runs so far. Willey scored 10 runs for the team England. They lost seven wickets in 20 overs and presented 137 runs milestone in front of Australia. Richardson took three and Stanlake took two wickets for England so far.
