Australia won by 3 wickets

Team Australia was scheduled to play a dual tournament against England cricket team where as per the schedule, the new season of Ashes came which was staged at Australia. Due to the purpose, team England visited Australia along with some extra schedule. They lost the Ashes series against Australia by 4 – 0 games which was a shame for them. They did not able to manage at least a victory there. So, when they started the ODI series against Australia, team England was desperate to beat them and as a result, they secured the series by winning consecutive three matches where ODI series consisted of five matches so far. But in 4th ODI, picture was changed and Australia won by 3 wickets against England. Actually they just did able to avoid whitewash against England it seemed.

After defeating first three matches, team Australia was also in pressure and they needed a victory at their home venue. It seemed not possible where Australia started to lost matches at the home venue against their top rival team England.

Basically, team England is currently most balanced than ever before and they have strong batting and bowling line up. They should win Ashes series but failed. And now they got another chance to take the revenge and took it. But failed to whitewash Australia by losing 4th match.

The 4th ODI between English team and cricket Australia was taken place in 26th January, 2018 and Adelaide Oval, Adelaide hosted the match. Earlier the match, team Australia once again won the toss and let the guest team to bat first. In the match when England came to bat first, they faced a batting disaster and lost all wickets in 44.5 overs. Their innings finished with 196 runs only which was an easy target for Australia to chase Chris Woakes scored highest 78 runs for the team England where Pat Cummins took highest four wickets for Australia.

Later, Australia also came to chase such poor score but they also faced a disaster. Finally by losing seven wickets team Australia reached the destination. They scored 197 runs in just 37 overs. Travis Head scored highest 96 runs for the team Australia where Adil Rashid took highest three wickets for England. Head and Woakes both scored 1000 runs milestone in ODI through the match. Pat Cummins received the player of the match awards due to his brilliant bowling spell.

Most of them English players failed that day where just four made it to some score which were captain Morgan who scored 33 runs, Ali scored 33 runs, Woakes scored 78 runs and Curran scored 35 runs respectively.
