Danielle Wyatt, who once proposed Virat Kohli, comments on Rohit Sharma’s century
Danielle Wyatt is back showing her love for star Indian cricketers.
The England women’s team all-rounder took to Twitter to comment on Rohit Sharma’s century that steered India to a win over England in the series-deciding T20 on Sunday.
The opening batsman smashed a 56-ball hundred as India chased down England’s 199-run total with seven wickets in hand to seal the series, 2-1.
And when a fan asked Wyatt to comment on Rohit’s knock, she simply said: “Very good.”
During the 2014 World T20, Wyatt was so impressed with Indian superstar Virat Kohli’s 72-run knock against South Africa that she proposed him on Twitter.
“Kholi [sic] marry me,” was her tweet.
Wyatt later revealed what Kohli told her when the crossed paths.
“When we met, he said to me: ‘You can’t do things like that on Twitter! They take things seriously!’ I was like, ‘okay. Sorry!’” she said.
@Danni_Wyatt one word on Rohit’s performance today?
