Denys Berinchyk has no interest in normal ring-walks, it seems.

The Ukrainian boxing star made a statement even before entering the ring as he rode on the back of the horse prior to his fight against Jose Luis Prieto on Saturday.

Call the horse good omen or what, the unbeaten lightweight went on stop his opponent at the end of the fifth round, extending his record to 9-0 (6 KOs).

This is not the first time Berinchyk has caught the attention with his ring-walk. According to a report by SBNation, he once made his entry with handcuffs on and surrounded by jailors. On an other occasion, he rode a motorbike on his way to the ring. He also dressed up as the mascot of 1980 Moscow Olympics.

As an amateur, Berinchyk, 30, won silver at 2011 World Championships and 2012 Olympics before making his debut in the paid ranks in 2015.

Funny guy!
