Tyson Fury is leaving no stone unturned ahead of Deontay Wilder bout, it seems.

Apart from the physical exertion, the ‘Gypsy King’ has imposed a sex ban on himself in order to be in top shape ahead of the fight for the WBC heavyweight belt.

According a report by Mirror, Fury has left his wife Paris back home as he continues to train hard in Los Angeles for one of the biggest fight nights of his career.

“No, no sex. No sex for 12 weeks,” Fury, who is known for his outspoken conduct, was quoted as saying.

And how would he celebrate if he manages to extend his unbeaten record to 28-0 come December 1?

Well, it would be a quiet one, he says. “It’ll probably be four in the morning by the time I get finished with the drug testing and the press conference so I’ll be going to bed straight away.”

He, however, plans to go on a Christmas vacation with his wife and kids Prince John James and Venezuela.

“As for a vacation, I’ll be back at home because I’ve been away for over three months and I’ve not seen my kids for three months,” Fury said.

“We’ll have Christmas coming up so that will be a good vacation for December.”

Fury is not the first one to steer clear of lovemaking ahead of a bout. His countryman Amir Khan had done the same in the run-up to his fight against Samuel Vargas earlier this year.

Khan went on to win on points. Can Fury do the same? Time shall tell.
