Unbeaten professional boxer Vijender Singh will look to continue his destructive form when he takes on experienced Frenchman Matiouze Royer at the Copper Box Arena come Saturday.

Speaking at the press conference, the 30-year-old Indian said that although his opponent won’t make things easy for him, he’s well-equipped to punch another knock-out victory.

“It is going to be tough; Royer has 250 grueling rounds under his belt compared to my nine. I know he’s capable of mixing it up and making life difficult for me but he won’t have a reply for my knockout power,” Vijender was quoted as saying by IANS.

Vijender, a former Olympic medalist, has had a dream start to his pro career, knocking all of his four opponents out. That said, he’s in no mood to spill the KO streak when he trades punches this time around.

“Once I start landing on him it’ll be all over, there’s no doubt about that,” added Vijender, who is known for his brute power. “I’m not going in to this fight looking for a big knockout but I’m predicting another big finish.

“If the opportunity comes to take him out, I’ll grab it with both hands.”

Meanwhile, Vijender is scheduled for another fight on May 13 before a homecoming in June.
