Just days ahead of his bout against India’s Vijender Singh, Poland’s Andrzej Soldra vowed to bring his opponent’s unbeaten run to a halt as he revealed his plans for the super middleweight fight slated to be held in Bolton on May 13.

Singh, who made his professional debut last year, has won all of his five matches by stoppages, the last of which was a fifth-round technical knockout (TKO) of French veteran Matiouze Royer at the Copper Box Arena last month.

However, Soldra (12-3-1) insists that he has a set game plan in mind to inflict Singh his first loss in the professional circuit.  “Vijender has never met anyone like me and he will realise what it is like fighting with a real professional boxer,” PTI quoted Soldra.

“I will take great delight in handing Vijender in his first loss and sending him back home to India beaten and broken. In fact I will tell you what I will do to him, I will smash him to the body to loosen him up and then a right hand to knock him out, just watch me.”

Singh, however, will look to continue his winning spree as he is scheduled to trade punches for his first belt – the World Boxing Organization’s (WBO) Asia title – in front of the home crowd. The bout is scheduled to be held on June 11 in Delhi.
