Anthony Joshua said he could fight Tyson Fury once the latter returns to the ring next year.

Fury (25-0) was stripped off his belts after confessing to using cocaine, and was subsequently barred from competing. However, he recently announced a 2018 comeback, saying he will fight three times, starting April next season.

And, Joshua (19-0) – the current IBF, IBO and WBA Super world champion – can’t wait to ‘get down and dirty’ with Fury, who has time and again called out his fellow Brit.

“Yeah, me and him will get down and dirty real soon it’s just fighting talk,” Joshua told TalkSport when asked if he could be one of Fury’s three opponents next year.

“I’m looking forward to him getting back and adding a bit more dust to the storm because he’s talented he’s a good fighter,” he added.

The 28-year-old further said that the way of defeating a naturally bigger opponent in Fury is to adopt Mike Tyson’s famous head movement style.

“He’s not like the champions we know of, the Mike Tyson – boom-boom-boom head movement… he’s a different animal, a different breed, 6 feet 9 inches, rangy.

“So I think the way to beat Tyson Fury is like a Mike Tyson style, but you need a lot of energy and you need to be fit and strong.”
