It’s been a disappointing year for Amir Khan, both on and off the ring. His fight against Filipino legend Manny Pacquiao was called off in April, before his family altercations became public.

To make things worse, he parted ways with his wife Faryal Makhdoom after accusing her of cheating on him with heavyweight superstar Anthony Joshua.

But, the British boxing star is looking to put all the ‘wrongdoings’ behind as took to his official Instagram account to apologise for being inactive in the ring, vowing to make a comeback soon.

“Can’t wait to get back in the ring, where I belong. I apologise to all my fans for not being active for a year. I want this more than anyone. Time to make my come back, right to the top where I belong,” Khan, who lost to Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez in his last fight in May 2016, wrote to his 1 million followers.

“A lots happened in my life n it’s time I put everything behind me. I apologise to everyone for all the wrong doings, time to move on and do what I do best,” he added.

The 30-year-old Khan, a former two-time world champion, is expected to make a return to the ring early next year.
