For all this while, there were just three names – Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder – being discussed in the heavyweight division. Could well be the time to add a new member to the list?

Wladimir Klitschko, a former unified world champion, has reportedly shown interest in coming out of retirement to contest a rematch with Anthony Joshua, the reigning IBF, IBO, WBA and WBO holder.

Klitschko and Joshua had traded punches in April last year, with the latter rising from the canvas to pull off a stunning 11th-round knock out victory. The former announced his retirement following the loss.

But, the Ukrainian superstar could soon be making a return to the ring, if Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn is to be believed.

“He wants to come back. I think he text AJ and said: “I wanna come back, I feel like I beat everybody in the division right now,” Hearn was quoted as saying by Daily Mail.

“Joshua has always wanted to fight Deontay Wilder and he wants to fight him now.

“He wants to become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. The only way either fighter can do that is to fight each other.

“Currently it’s Deontay Wilder, that’s what we want. It might be Tyson Fury.”

Joshua could also fight some exciting names like Jarrell Miller or Oleksandr Usyk or the winner of the upcoming fight between Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora, Hearn added.

“It might be the winner of Whyte vs Chisora, it might be Oleksandr Usyk, it might be Jarrell Miller. Everything’s in play.”

Do you see Klitschko making a successful comeback?
