The blockbuster heavyweight clash between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury promises to be one of the intriguing fights in recent times. One may even say it’s difficult to pick an out-and-out winner. But, not the duo’s biggest rival, Anthony Joshua.

Joshua, the IBF, IBO, WBA and WBO champion, thinks there will be only one winner: The Bronze Bomber. The reason? Well, he wants to have a unification fight with the WBC holder sometime next year.

“Wilder is a champion now and if he wins, he can do what he wants. If Fury wins, Wilder gets a rematch so it messes up the plans a bit. Nevertheless, Wilder for me. He will win,” Joshua said at a recent event, as quoted by Mirror.

‘I need Wilder to win. It gives me more of an opportunity to fight him. As a champion, if he retains his belt, that’s the fight that people have been yearning for, so hopefully 2019 is going to be a big year for me.

“I think this fight will happen. It has to for the love of the sport, especially where we are at in our careers.”

And guess what? Joshua has said he’s not going to wake up to watch Wilder versus Fury.

“The fight is on too early in the morning for me, so I’ll be sleeping. I enjoy watching the highlights. I’ll watch it in the morning on social media.

“When I wake up, I like to see who got knocked out. It’s a generation thing. We like highlights, so I don’t watch the whole thing.”

Do you agree with Joshua? Or do you see Gypsy King proving his win over Wladimir Klitschko was no fluke.
