Amir Khan was asked who’s the best heavyweight and his answer is surprising

Amir Khan never ceases to surprise us, be it inside the ring or outside it.

The British boxer, who made his comeback after almost two years with a stunning 39-second knockout of Canada’s Phil Lo Greco over the weekend, has named who he thinks the best heavyweight in the world is.

Anthony Joshua? No. Deontay Wilder neither! Then, who’s it? It’s Tyson Fury.

“The Gypsy King is one of those guys who is not scared of anything and he’s not scared of saying anything,” Khan told in an exclusive interview.

“He’ll say the funniest things in press conferences and I think he can fight. He probably is one of the best heavyweight fighters out there.”

Although current champions Joshua and Wilder are dominating the division at the moment, Khan insists that the duo has not been tested enough yet.

“[Wilder’s a] big banger… if he hits you, it’s light out. But I don’t think he has been tested yet,” Khan continued.

“[Joshua’s a] very good fighter, he’s very strong… another fighter that’s not been tested,” he said.

“I think out of the bunch of three names you mentioned, Fury is probably the best out of all three.”

Khan’s pick comes as a bit of surprise even as Fury upset Wladimir Klitschko in 2015 before going inactive due to drug abuse and personal issues.
