It’s a known fact that Tyron Woodley wears many hats. The current UFC welterweight champion also happens to be an actor, besides also having been an amateur wrestler before turning to MMA.

And now, the American fighter may follow in the footsteps of UFC superstar Conor McGregor by making his professional boxing debut.

Not just that, just as McGregor fought a big name in Floyd Mayweather for a big pay cheque, Woodley has also set his eyes upon trading punches with the current IBF, WBA and WBO light heavyweight champion of the world, Andre Ward, who also happens to be his good friend.

“I would honestly rather train with Andre Ward, but if it’s an opportunity to make money, I can’t see Andre or myself turning it down,” Woodley, 35, told TMZ.

Here’s how their personal records look like…

Tyron Woodley (MMA record): 18-3-1

Andre Ward (Pro boxing record): 32-0-0
