Of tanking, bagel and exchange with spectator: Nick Kyrgios at his controversial best in Cincinnati
Nick Kyrgios was at his controversial best on Wednesday night, one may say.
The Australian tennis star overcame his notorious behaviour apart from his opponent Borna Coric of Croatia to advance to the third round of the Cincinnati Masters.
If Kyrgios’ performance in the first set was an indication of how he develops the momentum early on in the match, the second proved how quickly he could lose his hold on it.
Down 7-6 0-6, the 23-year-old was unhappy with more than a thing. He looked unhappy with some of chair umpire’s decisions, had an exchange with the crowd, and took a subtle dig at his opponent.

Then came the tanking claim. He, however, refrained from it as he went on to win the third set 6-3. He is likely to lock horns with former US Open champion Juan Martin del Potro next.
Crowd member at 0-5 in 2nd set: “Dig in Nick!”
Nick Kyrgios: “It’s 5 to zero mate”This is all so glorious.

Kyrgios is so pissed, tells his team he doesn’t wanna play if he gets cheated by an umpire.
“You’ll never see a bigger tank than the next 3 games” he tells his team.
Woman in the crowd: “We all saw it was out. Play for us Nick.”

Earlier this year, he caused a stir after simulating a sex act during a match. He was also in the news for having a go at a journalist during a press conference.
The bad boy of tennis?
