- Cardiff City got themselves promoted to the Premier League under manager Malky Mackay, who guided them to a Wembley final as well as promotion to Premier League within two years of being in charge of the club. He was reportedly on £800k a year before the 2013-14 season and signed a new deal according to which he is making £2 Million a year with his current job as Cardiff City manager.
