Wildcard Entrants Named for Roland Garros 2015
The tournament officials named the wildcard entrants for Roland Garros 2015 on Friday.
Eight players in the men’s and women’s event will get a direct entry into the main draw that comprises an aggregate of 128 players across both the respective categories.
Owing to an agreement signed by the United States of America and Australia, one player each from both the countries is granted a wildcard every year to the main draw of the tournament.
“Roland Garros tournament direction has published the list of wild-cards allocated for the men’s and women’s singles at the 2015 French Open,” an official release from the Roland Garros website stated.
The tournament is scheduled to kick-off from May 24 in Paris.
