WATCH: Sara Errani serves underhand en route to winning Oracle Challenger
Sara Errani rode on her sublime form to win the Oracle Challenger, a WTA $125,000 event in Indian Wells. The Italian beat Kateryna Bondarenko of Ukraine 6-4 6-2 in the final on Sunday.
Serving at match point, Errani surprised one and all – including her opponent – by serving underhand. Although Bondarenko managed to return the serve, she eventually fell prey to the trick shot.

The title comes on the back of Errani’s decent run at the Dubai Duty Free Championships, where she won five matches – starting from the qualifiers – before losing to Germany’s Angelique Kerber in the second round.
She had also won both her Fed Cup rubbers against Spain in February.
