WATCH: Roger Fededer’s ‘nifty’ double-handed volley goes viral

Roger Federer may have been around for ages (excuse the exaggeration), but he just doesn’t cease to surprise even today.
Playing against Juan Ignacio Londero in the first round of the Western and Southern Open in Cincinnati, Federer produced a magical moment.
It happened early on in the second set, when Federer rushed on to the net and nailed a shot which has perhaps never been demonstrated.
It was double-handed volley off the backhand that looked like a dropshot. No wonder, Londero did mind giving it a chase as the ball was miles away (excuse the exaggeration again).
Twitter users were quick to praise the Swiss for his incredible effort.
“Years work,” one person wrote. “Such a great pickup, didn’t look like it would make it over the net!” another one noted.
The 20-time Grand Slam champion went on to win 6-3 6-4.
