WATCH: Donald Young Bangs His Racquet on Multiple Occasions at US Open
Donald Young’s love affair with the US Open took a beating on Thursday as he stumbled to a straight-set defeat to Ivo Karlovic in the second-round battle.
Young, who has made the fourth round on two occasions in 2011 and 2015, failed to hold his nerves at crucial junctures en route a 6-4 7-6 6-4 loss. He served zero aces against his big-serving opponent’s 24, and failed to convert any of the six break-points opportunities.
Young’s struggle became more evident when he vent his frustration on his racquet, banging it time and again.
