What do you do in a situation you can’t come to a conclusion on? Give it a long thought? Or go with your instinct, maybe?
While most would choose either of the options, tennis players Stan Wawrinka and Benoit Paire had their very own way.
Playing in the first round of the men’s doubles event at the Canadian Open, against the German pairing of Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies, the duo was confused as to who would return one deciding point.
What next? Wawrinka proposed they go for rock-paper-scissors, something to which Paire agreed. No wonder, the spectators were amused.
Wawrinka and Paire went on to prevail 6-3 3-6 10-8. The Swiss-French combination, however, pulled out of the quarter-final clash against Rohan Bopanna and Denis Shapovalov.
