Belarusian tennis star Victoria Azarenka gave birth to a baby boy as she took to her official Twitter handle to share the ‘good news’ with her 799,000 followers.

“Today I had my hardest fight and my very best victory! Our son was born healthy and happy! So thankful and blessed! Thank you,” Azarenka wrote on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old had took the tennis world by surprise when she announced her pregnancy with boyfriend Bill McKeague in July this year.

Azarenka, a former World No. 1 with 20 WTA titles, is also a two-time Australian Open champion and an Olympic bronze-medallist (London 2012).
