US Open 2016: Benoit Paire Enters Pressroom Drinking a Beer
It goes without saying that five-set matches can be extremely tiring for tennis players. Some rely on protein-rich foods to recuperate, while some prefer longer rest periods instead.
However, French tennis Benoit Paire had a solution of his own after grinding it out for two hours and 38 minutes against Serbia’s Dusan Lajovic in the first round of the US Open 2016 on Monday.
As per a tweet by journalist Bon Rothenberg, Paire walked into the pressroom for the post-match press conference drinking a beer following his 6-2 2-6 3-6 7-5 6-1 victory. Strange, isn’t it?
