Since last year Australian Open prize money incises 10 percent overall. After this great improvement of Prize Money, the current Australian Open bring some wonderful matches. After increasing the total prize money (10%), it is estimated to reach $44 million. This year it beyond the last year’s record $40 million as well. Both Man and Women champion will get $3.8 million prize money after this massive increasing. It is also reported the first, 2nd and 3rd round men’s single player will be awarded perpendicularly $34,500, $60,000 and $97,500.
