Maria Sharapova seems to be making the most of the off-season. The Russian tennis star enjoyed a good few days vacationing in Hawaii and spent some time with her close ones.

And now, she flew down to Shanghai, China, on Friday to attend a gala event organized by Chinese e-commerce company, Alibaba.

Sharapova later took to her official Instagram account to share a few snapshots, one of which was alongside the company’s owner, Jack Ma.

“An honor meeting Jack Ma at @AlibabaGroup #Double11 event today. Thank you for inviting me back to Shanghai!” the 30-year-old captioned the image to her 2.8 million followers.

Apart from Sharapova, Hollywood star Nicole Kidman, retired footballer Luis Figo and basketball superstar LeBron James were the other renowned names to attend the event.
