Top-ranked American female tennis player, Serena Williams, has conquered the world with her belligerent and gutsy style of play. That her courage has seen her become one of the best players of all time, it’s safe to say that her experience can rally round others with some audacious words, isn’t it?

Posing for renowned magazine ‘Harper’s Bazaar’ latest issue that “celebrates women who live by their own rules and who are brave enough to take flight”, the 34-year-old Williams opined on daring and how she considers herself a “daredevil”, with the exceptions going in tandem, of course.

“Daring to me is taking a chance but not doing it blindly; a very calculated chance,” she was quoted as saying by harpersbazaar website. “You have to be smart about it. You can’t be afraid to be a pioneer and take a chance and speak up and just be bold,” she added, before touting herself a “daredevil, except I don’t like heights.”

Williams, then, took to her official Instagram account to share a couple of photographs from the shoot.
