Nick Kyrgios in Fresh Twitter Controversy After ‘D***’ Comment
Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios has involved himself in a fresh controversy following his elimination from the ongoing Wimbledon Championships.
The 21-year-old Kyrgios proved no match for World No. 2 Andy Murray, who cruised for a routine 7-5 6-1 6-4 win in a lopsided fourth round battle on Centre Court.
Kyrgios’ performance drew criticism from around the world. One amongst them was renowned British journalist Piers Morgan, who was quick to pen down his views on Twitter.
“Great job @andy_murray. As for you @NickKyrgios – put your toys back in your pram & go home. #wimbledon” Morgan wrote on his official handle.
Kyrgios is not among the ones who hold back their rejoinders. He was nippy to get back with “EAD” which, in slang language, stands the abbreviation for “eat a d**k”.
No wonder, Kyrgios has got a lot to learn.
