Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios has graced the cover of New York Times magazine’s latest weekly issue, just days ahead of participating at the US Open 2016.

The issue – a US Open special edition – describes Kyrgios as “electric” and “infuriating” with a cover of his, where he is seen holding his chain by mouth – something which he does quite often on court.

The 21-year-old also took some time off practice to discuss a few things including his love for Pokémon Go. “It’s important to find a balance between Pokémon and training,” he said.

Seeded 14^th for this year’s event at Flushing Meadows, Kyrgios will look to better his last-year’s performance, where he had lost in the first round to Andy Murray.

The main draw is scheduled to get underway on Monday.
