The rumour mills had been rife claiming tennis players – Nick Kyrgios and Ajla Tomljanovic – to be in a relationship. The duo had been often seen exchanging tweets on Twitter, and now they seem to have taken a step further.

Kyrgios (20) and Tomljanovic (22) were spotted kissing each other following their first round loss to the Croatian-Indian combination of Ivan Dodig and Sania Mirza in the mixed doubles event of the season-opening Grand Slam Down Under.

It wasn’t the only controversy of the day for Kyrgios. Earlier, on the eve of the match, the Australian powerhouse created a stir after he picked up a call on court. This action, however, didn’t attract any penalty as the officials considered it to have happened before the start of the match.
