Nadal Overwhelming In Clay-Court

Rafael Nadal raised a storm again in clay-court. Former world number one won the ninth Monte Carlo Masters after defeating Gael Monfils. It is his first Masters Events title in last 2 years.
That was the 68th victory in 100 ATP world tour finals. The first two sets were intense contest against France’s Gael Monfils. Nadal won the first set by 7-5 but in the second set Monfils bounced back to win by equal difference.
However, “the clay-court king” did not give the opponent the third set. Defeats Monfils by 6-0 games and confirm the 9th record title by 14 time Grand Slam winner.
Earlier, the British number one Andy Murray were defeated by Nadal by 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 games and Nadal was crossing the barrier semi-final game. Needless to say, one of the favorites of the tournament Novak Djokovic was eliminated from the second round.
After winning a group photo posted on Instagram by Nadal with his team. Wrote the caption, “Thank you everyone for support. I am very happy for this win, and now the time to celebrate with the team. ”
Nadal’s statistics in clay court is proved how overwhelming he is in Clay-Court. Out of 4 grand slam only France Open is held on clay-court and he won his 9 grand slam at clay-court out of his 14 total career grand slam.
