Brazilian tennis player Teliana Pereira marries long-time boyfriend Alexandre Zornig
Teliana Pereira has been away from tennis since June this year, and she has been making the most of it.
The Brazilian tennis star tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Alexandre Zornig last Friday.
The couple first met at a tennis academy nine years ago and have been together ever since.
Pereira, 29, took to her official Twitter handle to share a photo of herself alongside Zorning, a former tennis player himself, from their wedding.
“If love is fantasy, I find myself in full Carnival. Love you alexandrezornig,” she captioned the photo.
Pereira, who peaked to a career-high ranking of No. 43 in 2013, has fallen to No. 348 due to injury concerns that have sidelined her from action.
A winner of two WTA singles titles, Pereira is now expected to return straightaway in 2018.
