Ana Ivanovic, Tomas Berdych, Angelique Kerber to Don ‘Zebra’ Outfits at Roland Garros
When did you last time see a tennis player sporting a zebra-crossing outfit? Well, it’s hard to remember. However, come Roland Garros this year, at least three of the world’s top players will be seen in such unfamiliar outfits on the red dirt.
According to tennis-buzz, women’s World No. 2 Angelique Kerber and No. 19 Ana Ivanovic, and men’s No. 7 Tomas Berdych will don the Adidas-designed zebra-crossings for the season’s second Grand Slam that is scheduled to be held from May 22 to June 5 in Paris.
Ana Ivanovic
The Serbian superstar will look for a turnaround in her fortunes as the clay events draw near, having had a dismal record this year (8-7).
Tomas Berdych
Berdych will look to put behind the last season’s early loss here as he persists in his quest of pulling off his maiden major triumph.
Angelique Kerber
After surprising one and all with her maiden Grand Slam title at the Australian Open this year, Kerber will look to ride on her purple patch when she enters the French courts.
