Simona Halep has been making the most of her time away from tennis, it seems.

The world No. 1 and reigning French Open champion has been out of action since her third-round defeat at Wimbledon (Su-Wei Hsieh) earlier this month.

Taking some time off practice, Halep decided to hit the beach on Monday as she took to her official Instagram account to share a few pictures with her legions of followers.

In one of them, the 26-year-old can be seen wearing a swimsuit, while the others show the picturesque coast.

Rare for her to share such pictures of social media, isn’t it?

She, however, got back on court soon thereafter, sharing a ‘story’ of practicing on the court later in the day.

Halep will her return as a wildcard at the WTA Connecticut Open, which is scheduled to be held from August 17-25 in Yale.

She will then compete at the US Open, beginning August 27.
