Caroline Wozniacki slammed for ‘photoshopped’ image on magazine cover, she responds
Danish tennis star Caroline Wozniacki graced the cover of Cosmopolitan Turkey magazine’s latest issue.
The reigning Australian Open champion jetted off to Istanbul a few days back for the photo-shoot before flying down to Paris for the ongoing French Open.
Wozniacki later took to her official Instagram account to share a snapshot of the cover page.
“Very excited about my June @cosmopolitanturkiye cover! Really enjoyed my time in Istanbul!” she wrote the caption to her 1.3 million followers.
Clad in an elegant yellow ensemble, the 27-year-old posed for the shutterbug wearing a big smile.
However, as much as she was appreciated by her fans, there were a number of people who were not happy with the ‘photoshopped’ image.
“I am a fan but that is not a flattering photo…. horrible Photoshop job,” one user wrote. “Actually she looks ugly here, she’s much better than this,” another added.
There were a couple of comments appreciating her natural look. “Too much photoshop, you don’t need to be corrected,” a comment read.
“This doesn’t look much like you. You are much prettier when you are natural.”
Wozniacki was quick to take a note of these comments as she posted an Instagram story of the raw image and wrote: “Raw image from the shoot (for those who complained about photoshop).”
