Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp went through an awkward moment ahead of his team’s Champions League final against Real Madrid.

After arriving in Kiev, Ukraine, for the all-important clash, Klopp led his team off the bus to sign autographs for hundreds of fans.

He hadn’t even started obliging the fans when a blonde woman leapt over the barrier, put her hand around Klopp’s neck, and tried to plant a kiss on his cheek.

Klopp, though, was quick to realize what was about to happen as he pulled back with a firm ‘no’.

This is not the first time something like this has happened in the football world.

Earlier this year, a male fan invaded the pitch during an international fixture between Portugal and The Netherlands in an attempt to kiss Cristiano Ronaldo.

A similar incident happened with Honduras’ Victor Bernardez, who was almost kissed by a male fan while posing for a photograph with his fans.
