In the two Capital One Cup ties on Wednesday 30 October 2013 we had Newcastle United taking on Manchester City in what was a great performance by the home side newcastle who were unlucky to not have won the game in normal time and the game was dead locked at 0-0 when the final whistle at 90 minutes rang. Game went into the extra time and Newcastle United players looked tired and wasted and Manchester City took the lead through Alvrado Negredo who bundled home Dzeko low cross from byline in the list minute of first extra time to make it 1-0 for he away side.

While Edin Dzeko made it 2-0 on the night with a cool finish after latching on to a fine looking through ball from Silva, rounded the keeper krul and slotted the ball calmly in the back of the net to make it 2-0 and a place in the 5th round of the Capital One Cup.
