Jose Mourinho side took on Derby county in the 3rd round of FA Cup and they ran out comfortable 2-0 winners in what was a good win for the away side. Chelsea started the game with some venom and they created and missed a few oppertunities, derby county were lucky to go into the break with score at 0-0 and home fans started the feel some hope of a upset. After the break it took Chelsea 20 minutes to open the scoring goal finaly came through John Obi Mikel who put ball back of the net in 66th minute of the game.

Chelsea’s best player this season, Oscar scored his first and chelsea’s 2nd of the night to put the tie to bed and clear the passage of chelsea to the 4th round. Chelsea will be happy with the result but their strikers still can not score even against the lower league sides and that is where Mourinho will be unhappy and with January window under way they might sign some big name striker.
