Pakistan will be hosting Australia in October 2014 in United Arab Emirates for a limited over and 2 test match series, though the exact dates and number of matches is not yet announced but the series is confirmed with the ICC Future tour programme. Paksitan of course are playing their home matches in UAE for a few years now.
It was expected that series would consist of 5 ODI matches and 3 Test matchm but this week, Cricket Australia manager James Sutherland told the media that “He expect a 2 test match, 3 odi and 1 t20 matches series and of course the venue is likely to be UAE”
Last time Pakistan played Australia in test series was back in 2010 when Pakistan drew a 2 match series with Ausstralias 1-1 in England. Other possible venues might be Qatar, England and Sri Lanka. But UAE is likely to win the vote for that.
