Ex-Sri Lanka cricketer Russel Arnold trolled after taking subtle dig at Virat Kohli and Co

Former Sri Lanka cricketer-turned-commentator Russel Arnold has found himself at the receiving end after a tweet on India’s performance in England in the ongoing Test series.
A valiant effort from India has not been enough to cause problem for the hosts as Virat Kohli and company are staring at a 1-4 defeat.
In what appears to be a subtle dig at India’s performance, Arnold took to Twitter to juxtapose it with Sri Lanka’s record in England.
“The most number of Tests that SL have lost in a single series in England is 2 #Fact #Justsaying,” he wrote.
No wonder, the 44-year-old was brutally trolled by Indian supporters.
“The number of test matches sri lanka won in india is 0 #Fact #Justsaying,” one person wrote.
“At home SL lost 10-0 across formats to India!! #alsofact #justsaying,” another one added.
“Have Srilanka ever Been Invited To Play 5 Test Match Series In England? Have Srilanka Been in the Number 1 Test Team in the World in the Past 18 Years? Have Srilanka Captain Ever Scored more than 550 Runs in Test Matches? Does Srilanka??#IndVEng #ENGvIND,” was just one of the other replies.
Another one even went to the extent of offering Russel a job in India. “Hey Russel! What’s happening, if eveything is not ok come to India we’ve enough jobs here for you.”
