Kohli Dismissed Gayle’s Record
Since last match day of RCB, Christopher Gayle was the most Run holder in a single IPL. But at last Monday Indian test skipper Virat Kohli made it own. On the way to play 75 runs innings at 51 balls against Kolkata, RCB opener Kohli now placing at the top of the list of most runs holder of a single IPL season.
The previous record was 733 runs of Michel Hussy’s and Chris Gayls’. But now Kohli’s runs after the match of KKR are 752 runs. He scored this runs from only 12 matches. RCB will also play more 2 matches in the round robin stage. If RCB can reach the play off, it will be so much difficult to imagine who many runs he will also add.
Hussy was scored his 733 runs in 17 innings but Gayle scored in 14 matches. In only 3 matches Kohli’s bat can’t score big. 11th may against MI, Kohli got out in 7 runs only. 30th April against SRH out on 14 runs and on 9th May with KXIP Kohli out after 20 runs. In this season of IPL Kohli had scored 3 centuries, while he never scored century in t20 career. He scored his all 3 centuries with all 2 new teams. With GL he scored twice and another comes with Pune. And 50+ score come in 5 innings.
