T20 World Cup 2016 Venues
India is going to host the World Cup for the first time. 35 T20 World Cup matches will be played from March 4 to April 8. Out of this, 17 matches have been hosted by two venue, Dharamsala and Nagpur. Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala, eight World Cup matches will be held. Nagpur is going to be held nine.
Rest of the 18 World Cup matches will be played in five venues in the -Chandigarh, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Delhi. Let’s take a glance at World Cup venues.
Venue: Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur

Number of seats: 40 thousand

Venue: Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium
Inauguration: 003 Year
Number of seats: 3 thousand

Venue: Eden Gardens in Kolkata
Inauguration: since 1864
Number of seats: 66 thousand

In addition to three Super eight matches will be played besides three other matches in this field. The 6th T20 World Cup final match will be held here.

Venue: Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai
Inauguration: 1974
Number of seats: 3 thousand
In addition to the men and women of the two semi-finals will be played in ten of these three matches.

Venue: M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore
Inauguration: 1969
Number of seats: 40 thousand
The team’s Group A matches and two group B match will be held. The women’s team will be in 6 matches

Venue: Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali
Inauguration: 1993
Number of seats: 6 thousand
Three men and three women’s matches will be played in this field.
Venue: Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi
Inauguration: 1883
Number of seats: 45 thousand
The matches will be held at 7 women. There are two in the semi-final. Men on the other two matches will be played. The Feroz Shah kotalaya so far did not host any T20 match.
