It’s a known fact that Roger Federer is blessed with a good sense of humour. But a certain fan on Twitter wouldn’t never have expected a hilarious reply from the man himself.

Federer, who hasn’t played in three months after skipping the entire clay season, was asked how his wife Mirka feels ahead of his return at this week’s Mercedes Cup in Stuttgart.

And, the Swiss superstar was quick to surprise the fan with a ‘quote retweet’, showing off his humourous side by replying: “Finally he is out of the house.”

Meanwhile, Federer, a 20-time Grand Slam champion, will hope his run-up to the Wimbledon begins on a high when he takes on Mischa Zverev of Germany on Wednesday.
