Serena Williams may be away from tennis courts, but she still knows how to make the headlines.

The American tennis superstar looked absolute sizzling as she attended the royal wedding Saturday morning.

Williams, 36, matched her Versace outfit with a headpiece of similar colour as she arrived arm-in-arm with her husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.

Ohanian, 35, looked dapper in a black suit as the couple posed for the shutterbugs.

Among the other celebrities to attend the nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were: David Beckham and his wife Victoria, Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney and his wife Amal, Elton John, David Furnish, and James Cordon, to name a few.

Williams is known to have been friends with Markle ever since they first met at 2010 Super Bowl.

Meanwhile, Williams, who is yet to make her full-fledged comeback since giving birth to her daughter Olympia, is expected to return at the French Open that kicks off on May 21.
