Adrien Broner continued to be in the news for all the wrong reasons even as he fought inside the ring on Saturday night.

The American welterweight boxer, who is known for his volatile behavior, was unhappy with judges’ decision after his 12-round fight against countryman Jessie Vargas in Brooklyn was ruled a majority draw.

During the post-fight interview, Broner lost his cool as he hustled interviewer Jim Gray’s mic before dropping offensive comments on Mexicans and using expletive words multiple times.

“It looks like I beat him with what they beat Martin Luther King Jr. with man,” he said.

“Let’s go to my town. I want to fight him where I’m from. There’s hella Mexicans that are in here, they kept booing me,” he added. “They want rice and chicken. I want some *#*# that want Coney’s around me.”

No wonder, Broner was heavily criticised on social media soon after.
