WATCH: Alexander Zverev can’t take his eyes off mobile during Davis Cup tie
Alexander Zverev put on a clinical display to clinch a 6-4 6-2 6-2 win over Spain’s David Ferrer in the first rubber of their Davis Cup fixture on Friday.
And the 20-year-old appeared more than relieved as he was spotted using his mobile phone during the second rubber between his compatriot Philipp Kohlschreiber and Rafael Nadal, which the latter went on to win in straight sets.

That was not the only thing about Zverev that caught the attention.
Earlier, during his match against Ferrer, the lanky German pulled off a spectacular point despite a late reaction (watch the video below).
Meanwhile, the two teams will look to take a crucial lead when Spain’s Marc Lopez/ Feliciano Lopez and Germany’s Tim Puetz/ Jan-Lennard Struff.
The winner of the tie will advance to the World Group semi-finals.
Zverev was waiting for the OUT call. It didn’t come, he reacted late but still won the point.#DavisCup pic.twitter.com/hgxmIVWr3G
