Italian tennis player Matteo Berrettini had a forgettable day in the office on Thursday.
The 21-year-old not only bowed out of the Brest Challenger in France, but also accidentally broke the roof of the court.
It happened during his second-round match against local hope Ugo Humbert, when – midway during a rally – Berrettini mishit a backhand return that went on to hit the roof.
Eventually, a part of the roof came down along with the ball, prompting an official to step in and take it away.
8th-seeded Berrettini, 21, went on to lose the match 3-6 0-6.
