Floyd Mayweather says he is not afraid to fight Gennady ‘GGG’ Golovkin
Floyd Mayweather may have hung up his gloves. But, he is still facing questions on fighting Gennady ‘GGG’ Golovkin.
Mayweather retired after making it 50-0, courtesy a 10th-round stoppage of UFC star Conor McGregor in September this year.
Many fans and pundits wanted to see him trade punches with GGG, which, of course, could never happen. And now, Mayweather is being questioned over it.
As per a video posted by TMZ, a heckler confronted Mayweather in New York on Monday night, saying he is scared to fight GGG
The American shot back, saying that isn’t the case and that he is enjoying his post-retirement life
GGG (37-0-1), meanwhile, was held to a draw by Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez in the biggest fight of his career last month, which many saw the former winning.
Interestingly, Canelo’s (49-1-2) only professional defeat came at the hands of Mayweather when the duo locked horns four years back.
